Account Manager - Travel & Tourism

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join a boutique travel and tourism representation agency based in Kent. The role focuses on driving sales, increasing brand awareness and managing relationships with tour operators, airlines, national tourist boards and other trade partners.

Key responsibilities

• Promote the agency and client brands across the leisure tourism and consumer sectors.
• Develop new contracts, product placements in brochures and websites, and marketing campaigns.
• Maintain and expand relationships with existing tour operators and explore new distribution opportunities.
• Organise and attend trade and consumer shows, co‑operative promotions and familiarisation trips.
• Coordinate account visits to the UK and Europe, handling appointments, travel, accommodation and reporting.
• Produce quarterly market updates and monthly sales reports for each account.
• Work with the PR Manager to maximise media opportunities for clients.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience at an account executive level, preferably within the tourism industry.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Proven sales track record and ability to meet quarterly targets.
