Account Manager – UK (Manchester)

About the role

Zoomlion is seeking an Account Manager to develop and maintain relationships with customers in the United Kingdom, based in Manchester. The role focuses on promoting the company’s construction and heavy‑machinery portfolio, identifying new business opportunities and supporting the sales cycle from prospecting to order fulfilment.

Key responsibilities

• Visit end‑customers and partner companies to build and update client records in the CRM system.
• Develop and nurture public and private relationships to generate repeat business.
• Identify market opportunities, collect project information and drive sales activities.
• Analyse competitor activity and contribute to sales and implementation planning.
• Participate in commercial negotiations for key projects to achieve regional targets.
• Support financing and collection processes as required.

Required profile

• Familiarity with the UK market and construction‑machinery sector.
• Degree or diploma in marketing, engineering (mechanical/electrical), international business or related field.
• Strong sense of responsibility, good communication skills and a valid driving licence.
• Experience coordinating with leasing partners is a plus.

Required skills

• Knowledge of heavy machinery such as Excavator.
• Experience with Mobile Crane operations.
• Understanding of Concrete handling equipment.
• Familiarity with Tower Crane systems.
• Operation of Forklift machinery.
• Knowledge of Foundation machinery.
• Experience with Aerial Work Machinery.
• Understanding of Mining equipment.
