Account Relationship Consultant

About the role

The Account Relationship Consultant supports M&G’s growth by strengthening relationships with financial advisers and helping them navigate our product suite and digital tools. Working closely with Intermediated Distribution teams, you will act as a trusted partner, ensuring advisers have the information and support they need to deliver positive client outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with a panel of financial advisers.
• Identify and progress sales opportunities through adviser engagement and data insights.
• Provide timely, accurate support on product, proposition and pre‑sales queries.
• Champion M&G’s flagship investment proposition, PruFund, to maximise client value.
• Conduct fact‑findings to uncover opportunities and generate referrals for Account Managers.
• Support quotation activity, new‑business generation and delivery of clear, compelling proposals.

Required profile

• Strong commercial awareness and ability to build trusted adviser relationships.
• Clear, supportive communication style with a focus on delivering value.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, varied environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Interest in developing sales and relationship‑management expertise across a broad product range.
