Accountancy Assistant

About the role

The Accountancy Assistant will join the busy Finance Team at Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust, working on a hybrid basis between home and the White Rose Park office. The role provides essential support to the Assistant Directors of Finance, the Financial Services and Management teams, as well as to budget holders across the Trust.

Key responsibilities

• Enter transactional data (receipts, sales orders, manual payments) into the general ledger accurately and promptly.
• Assist with month‑end and annual accounts processes, including control account reconciliations.
• Support the receivables policy, handling queries from staff, customers and patients in a professional manner.
• Provide routine day‑to‑day assistance to the finance team and help resolve audit queries.
• Maintain effective communication and teamwork with both finance and non‑finance colleagues.
