Accountant – Farming Sector Clients

About the role

Join a fast‑growing accountancy practice in Exeter as an Accountant focused on farming and other rural‑related clients. You will develop your technical expertise while supporting a diverse portfolio that includes agricultural businesses, landed estates, holiday lets, property and retail clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare year‑end accounts and related tax returns for farming and rural sector clients.
• Deliver a range of wider accounting services, including advisory and compliance work.
• Build and maintain client relationships across agricultural, property and retail sectors.
• Take on increasing responsibility as you progress within the firm.

Required profile

• AAT qualification (or studying) or ACCA/ACA studies.
• 2‑3 years (or more) experience in an accountancy practice preparing accounts and tax.
• Experience or genuine interest in agricultural or rural‑sector accounting.
• Motivation to develop technically and pursue further qualifications.
