Accountant – Finance & Management Reporting

About the role

We are partnering with a respected, privately‑owned business that provides bespoke services to an international client base. The company is expanding rapidly and needs an accountant who can contribute to strategic decision‑making through robust financial accounting, reporting and analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting tasks, including payments, reconciliations and VAT processing.
• Prepare management accounts, budgets, forecasts and regular financial reports.
• Support month‑end, year‑end and external audit activities.
• Conduct financial analysis and champion process improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
• Strong financial and management accounting expertise.
• Excellent knowledge of VAT, multi‑currency transactions and advanced Excel.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive and commercially aware.
• Effective communicator and team player.
• AAT qualification or a relevant finance degree is desirable.
