About the role

We are seeking a qualified or part‑qualified ACCA/ACA accountant with at least three years of experience to join our proactive accountancy firm in Lancaster. The role offers a full‑time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, delivering bespoke financial services to a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

Prepare accounts for limited companies, sole traders, partnerships, LLPs and charities
Manage a diverse portfolio of clients and maintain strong relationships
Conduct credit control activities and liaise closely with the partner
Advise clients on accounting systems and processes
Produce tax computations, bookkeeping entries and VAT returns

Required profile

ACCA or ACA qualification (full or part qualified)
Minimum three years of relevant accounting experience
Proven ability to handle a large client base and build lasting relationships
Strong attention to detail and proactive approach
