About the role
This position offers a varied accounting role within a Financial Services department, providing strong exposure to group reporting, technical accounting, and cross‑functional projects. The successful candidate will work closely with finance teams to ensure accurate financial statements and support strategic decision‑making.
Key responsibilities
- Produce monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting packages.
- Complete balance‑sheet reconciliations and verify data accuracy.
- Support group reporting and disclosures across the organisation.
- Provide insight on revenue, cost and asset trends.
- Assist with SOX controls, internal audits and statutory reporting requirements.
Required profile
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with at least 2 years post‑qualification experience.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly IFRS; knowledge of US GAAP is desirable.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with an ERP system, preferably SAP.
