Accountant – South Manchester – Permanent Role

About the role

Join a growing South Manchester accountancy practice as an Accountant. You will manage a varied portfolio of SME and owner‑managed clients, delivering high‑quality accounts, tax returns and management information while building trusted relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review statutory accounts, management accounts and tax returns for a diverse client base.
• Produce management information and financial reports for client decision‑making.
• Act as the primary point of contact for client queries, offering timely and accurate advice.
• Develop advisory services and contribute to business‑growth initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA, AAT qualified or qualified by experience.
• Previous experience working within an accountancy practice.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ambitious, proactive and eager to develop professionally.
