Accounting Analyst

About the role

The Accounting Analyst will join the EMEA Shared Service Centre, supporting intercompany transactions for a global FMCG organisation. You will ensure accurate recording, timely payments, and resolve internal queries while assisting with month‑end closing and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Process intercompany invoices, cash allocation and reconcile intercompany accounts in line with Service Level Agreements.
• Support month‑end activities including balance‑sheet reconciliations, account analysis and financial reporting.
• Analyse accounts receivable and payable open items, monitor goods receipt accounts and reconcile aged items.
• Resolve vendor and country queries, maintaining high customer satisfaction.
• Ensure financial information quality and integrity by applying appropriate controls and consistent regional processes.
• Identify and implement process improvements, onboard new staff and share knowledge across the SSC.

Required profile

• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Graduate‑level education in business, finance or a related field.
• Proven experience in balance‑sheet reconciliations and accounts receivable.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
