Accounting Bookkeeper (Full-Time)

About the role
We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accounting Bookkeeper to join our finance team in Cambridge, ON on a permanent, full‑time basis. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting day‑to‑day accounting operations.
Key responsibilities
- Record and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and post journal entries and month‑end closing reports.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with statutory deductions.
- Generate routine financial statements and support internal audits.
Required profile
- 1 to less than 2 years of bookkeeping or related accounting experience.
- College, CEGEP or equivalent non‑university diploma (1‑2 year program) or comparable work experience.
- Availability to start on the date specified in the posting.
- Any required bookkeeping certifications as indicated by the employer.
