Accounting Coordinator – Finance Operations

About the role

The Accounting Coordinator will join a Japanese food manufacturing company’s finance team in North London. You will be responsible for day‑to‑day accounts payable and receivable activities, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and payments are collected on time.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices, code them correctly and maintain supplier ledger accounts.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve supplier queries.
• Manage monthly expense reporting for senior management.
• Issue customer invoices, handle disputes and develop collection strategies.
• Monitor overdue accounts, reconcile payments and produce ageing reports.
• Provide general support to the finance and accounting team as needed.

Required profile

• Fluent English communication skills.
• 1‑3 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable or a similar finance role.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and month‑end reconciliation processes.
• Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail and a proactive, team‑oriented attitude.
