Accounting Coordinator

About the role

The Accounting Coordinator will support the finance team of a fast‑growing group company, handling both accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as well as general ledger maintenance. Working closely with the team leader, you will ensure accurate processing of invoices, timely collections and clear reporting for management.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices accurately and on time, ensuring proper coding and documentation.
• Maintain supplier GL accounts and keep ledgers up‑to‑date.
• Resolve invoice disputes and discrepancies with suppliers.
• Monitor overdue supplier accounts and follow up to secure timely payments.
• Collaborate with other departments to address supplier issues.
• Manage monthly expense reporting for management.
• Process customer invoices, handle disputes and implement collection strategies.
• Track overdue customer accounts and follow up to obtain payments.
• Reconcile payments, resolve invoice‑receipt mismatches and produce ageing reports.
• Maintain positive customer relationships and respond to inquiries.
• Provide ad‑hoc support to the finance and accounting team as needed.

Required profile

• Relevant accounting experience or a recent graduate with an accounting degree or part‑qualified ACCA.
• Strong numerical ability and attention to detail.
• Flexible, team‑oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to commute to Enfield (approximately 25 minutes from Liverpool Street station).
• Any Korean or Japanese language ability is a plus but not essential.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.

What we offer

• Competitive annual salary of £27‑£32 k, dependent on experience.
• Hybrid working model – two days remote after probation.
• 28 days annual leave (20 days + 8 bank holidays).
• Full‑time permanent contract, Monday‑Friday 9:00‑17:30.
