Accounts and Audit Senior

About the role

We are partnering with a personable Top 100 accountancy firm in Central London to hire an Accounts & Audit Senior. This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA or ACCA finalist or newly qualified accountant who wants to maintain a broad general‑practice skill set rather than specialise narrowly.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts under FRS 102
• Prepare management accounts
• Support and carry out audit assignments
• Work across a varied portfolio of owner‑managed and SME clients
• Liaise directly with clients and build strong relationships
• Support tax work where appropriate
• Use CaseWare and Xero as the main systems
• Manage deadlines and deliver accurate, high‑quality work

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA finalist status, or newly qualified
• Experience in both accounts preparation and audit within practice
• Strong knowledge of FRS 102
• Experience preparing statutory and management accounts
• Good communication and client‑facing skills
• Collaborative, professional and personable approach
