Accounts Assistant – Automotive Dealership

About the role

Sytner Group’s Sunningdale dealership is looking for an Accounts Assistant to support the day‑to‑day financial operations of the business. You will work closely with the Dealership Accountant and management team, handling sales and purchase ledgers, cash postings and bank reconciliations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update sales and purchase ledgers.
• Process daily cash postings and perform bank reconciliations.
• Carry out stock checks and month‑end reconciliations.
• Provide ad‑hoc support to the Dealership Accountant and management.
• Assist with other finance‑related tasks as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an accounting role with solid knowledge of routine accounting tasks.
• Familiarity with stock checks and month‑end reconciliation processes.
• Enthusiastic, well‑organised and able to meet strict deadlines.
• Detail‑oriented and capable of working both independently and within a small team.

Required skills

• Knowledge of CDK/Kerridge Dealer Management system (advantageous).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
