Accounts Assistant – Finance Operations

About the role

We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join a fast‑paced, collaborative finance team. The role offers hybrid working from day one and provides a solid foundation for progressing within finance operations.

Key responsibilities

• Managing Accounts Payable operations, including invoice matching and purchase order reconciliation.
• Handling the finance mailbox, responding to queries and routing requests for approval.
• Loading invoices into the accounting system accurately on a daily basis.
• Supporting month‑end activities to ensure timely financial reporting.
• Contributing to data reliability and continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in accounts payable or a similar transactional finance role.
• AAT Level 3 qualification or an equivalent credential.
• Strong organisational ability and capacity to manage multiple tasks precisely.
• Proactive, autonomous and excellent communication skills.
• Adaptable, approachable and eager to support team objectives.

Required skills

• Experience with finance systems, preferably NetSuite.
