Accounts Assistant – Finance Support for Creative Agency

About the role

We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join a finance team supporting a creative agency in central London. You will work closely with senior finance staff, handling day‑to‑day accounting tasks and ensuring accurate, timely processing of financial transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Process invoices and manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconcile accounts and monitor outstanding balances, following up with clients and vendors.
• Assist in maintaining the general ledger with accurate entries.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Review employee expense reports and process reimbursements.
• Provide documentation and support during audits.
• Undertake ad‑hoc finance tasks as required.

Required profile

• Prior experience in an accounting role.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Xero or Paprika accounting software.
