Accounts Assistant – Finance Team

About the role

The Accounts Assistant will support the Finance Manager in the month‑end close process and cash management for a global business based in West Drayton. This hybrid role involves handling intercompany reconciliations, journal entries and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

  • Take full control of intercompany reconciliations across multiple countries.
  • Maintain minimum creditor and debtor balances and resolve invoice queries.
  • Process month‑end journals, including payroll journals.
  • Maintain balance‑sheet reconciliations and make necessary adjustments.
  • Complete daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare weekly cash forecasts.
  • Provide cover for Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable as needed.

Required profile

  • Solid grounding in finance or accounting.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage own workload.
