Accounts Assistant – Finance Team

About the role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will help keep the finance function running smoothly by working across both the sales and purchase ledgers. You will build positive relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues while taking ownership of a varied daily workload.

Key responsibilities

• Process purchase invoices and resolve discrepancies
• Reconcile supplier statements and assist with payment runs
• Raise customer invoices and credit notes, manage statements and upload invoices
• Post receipts daily and process card payments
• Support credit control and chase outstanding balances
• Maintain accurate sales and purchase ledgers
• Manage finance inboxes and respond to queries
• Provide general administrative support to the finance team

Required profile

• Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance role
• Good understanding of sales and purchase ledger processes
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Confident communication skills and a proactive, reliable attitude

• Full‑time, Monday‑Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
