Accounts Assistant – Finance Team

About the role

We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our friendly finance team on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. Based in modern offices in Southwest London, you will support the AP/AR Manager with a variety of finance administration tasks, gaining exposure across the whole finance function of a growing international business.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices accurately and within reporting deadlines.
• Assist with supplier and customer account reconciliations.
• Create and maintain supplier and customer records in SAP, keeping data up‑to‑date.
• Update customer contact information, credit terms and account details.
• Support accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice coding and credit control.
• Process UK credit‑card expenses and manage finance email inboxes.
• Contact customers regarding outstanding balances and escalate overdue accounts.
• Collaborate with Customer Service on order processing and finance‑related queries.
• Carry out general accounts administration, record keeping and data processing.

Required profile

• Previous experience in accounts administration, finance administration or data processing.
• Experience with SAP Business One or a similar ERP system is desirable.
• Basic accounting qualification is a plus.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
