Accounts Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Accounts Assistant to join our finance team in Borehamwood. You will work alongside experienced finance and property professionals, gaining exposure to a wide range of accounting and administration tasks while using our latest AI‑powered finance systems.

Key responsibilities

• Manage shared finance inboxes and respond promptly to customer and supplier enquiries.
• Process supplier invoices accurately using finance systems.
• Post daily receipts, including BACS, card, cheque and online payments.
• Monitor daily bank transactions and allocate payments correctly.
• Support bank reconciliations and general finance administration.
• Process tenant adjustments and additional charges.
• Liaise with suppliers regarding invoices, payments and purchase orders.
• Maintain contractor records and ensure compliance documentation is up to date.
• Help maintain accurate financial records and meet deadlines consistently.

Required profile

• Organised, proactive and highly accurate.
• Confident communicator with excellent customer service skills.
• Comfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities.
• Previous administration or finance experience.
• Willingness to embrace new technology, including AI‑powered invoice processing.
