About the role
We are seeking an Accounts Assistant / Semi‑Senior to join a leading Wiltshire‑based practice, working from either the Bath or Radstock office. The role offers a blend of bookkeeping, account preparation and tax compliance, with a clear pathway towards senior accountant responsibilities.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.
- Handle tax compliance tasks, including Making Tax Digital for self‑assessment returns.
- Produce VAT returns and manage routine bookkeeping for clients.
- Assist with the preparation of tax computations and related filings.
Required profile
- AAT qualification.
- Minimum three years of experience in an accountancy practice.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Required skills
- Proficiency with QuickBooks accounting software.
