Accounts Assistant – Temporary Hybrid (3 months)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Accounts Assistant to join the Homes Income Team on a three‑month temporary hybrid contract. You will support the accurate administration of tenant accounts and income transactions using MRI Qube.

Key responsibilities

• Process and allocate receipts in MRI Qube.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Set up and maintain tenant accounts and tenancy information.
• Raise charges and update records in line with tenancy agreements.
• Assist with month‑end and periodic finance activities.
• Maintain accurate financial records and respond to finance‑related queries.
• Provide ad‑hoc accounting and administrative support to the team.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance role.
• Strong working knowledge of MRI Qube.
• Excellent Excel skills.
• Experience posting receipts and carrying out bank reconciliations.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in housing, property or real‑estate sector is advantageous.
