About the role
We are looking for an Accounts & Audit Semi‑Senior to join a forward‑thinking accountancy firm in Brentwood. The role combines statutory accounts preparation, tax compliance and audit work across a diverse client base.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies.
- Prepare accounts for sole traders and partnerships.
- Prepare corporation tax returns and personal tax returns.
- Assist in planning and execution of audit assignments.
- Conduct audit fieldwork and collaborate with senior auditors.
- Provide clients with support on accounting and tax matters.
Required profile
- General practice experience, including assistance on audit assignments.
- Holder of AAT qualification or progressing towards ACA/ACCA.
- Ambitious and keen to develop a career within a supportive firm.
