Accounts & Audit Senior

About the role

We are seeking an Accounts & Audit Senior for a well‑established UK accountancy practice of around 60 staff. The role is ideal for a recently qualified professional with solid audit and accounts experience who wants to develop within a CSR‑focused, friendly environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead audit assignments from planning through fieldwork to completion.
• Prepare and finalise company accounts.
• Conduct SAR and charities audits and compute corporation tax.
• Identify client needs, provide solutions and manage client relationships.
• Mentor, supervise and train junior team members.
• Research and analyse financial statements for audit‑related issues.
• Report progress to the Audit Manager or Partner and ensure work is delivered on time and within budget.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified or finalist.
• Previous audit and accounts experience in a UK practice.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK legislation.
• Positive, motivated team player with excellent organisational skills.
• Driver’s licence and own car preferred.
