Accounts & Audit Senior

About the role

TPF Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a reputable Chartered Accountants firm in Maidstone. The Audit & Accounts Senior will work on a mix of audit and accounting assignments, managing their own portfolio while supporting senior staff on larger engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead audits from planning through to completion.
• Prepare statutory accounts for a wide range of clients.
• Work with owner‑managed businesses, SMEs, and larger corporates.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients.
• Ensure compliance with UK GAAP (FRS 102) and relevant regulations.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified, or nearing qualification.
• Strong experience in a mixed audit and accounts role within practice.
• Good technical knowledge and a proactive approach.
• Confident communicator with strong client‑facing skills.
• Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• UK GAAP (FRS 102) compliance.
