Accounts & Client Manager – 4-Day Week, £45-65k

About the role

This position sits at the heart of a small, ambitious accounting firm, offering a blend of client‑facing and advisory work. You will own a portfolio of clients, work directly with partners and help shape the firm’s growth while enjoying a four‑day week and high autonomy.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop a personal portfolio of client relationships.
• Prepare, review and file statutory accounts and related financial statements.
• Oversee bookkeeping and produce management information for clients.
• Provide practical advice on a wide range of accounting and business matters.
• Collaborate with partners on complex client situations and strategic decisions.
• Identify and implement improvements to internal processes and client delivery.
