Accounts Manager – Farms/Rural

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Manager to join our Farms & Estates team in Cardiff. You will work with a portfolio of agriculture and rural clients, providing expert accounting and tax services while enjoying a hybrid working model and supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of agriculture and farming clients, preparing annual accounts and business tax computations.
• Provide advice on remuneration planning, profit forecasts and capital tax matters.
• Review and advise on VAT returns and other tax filings.
• Identify tax planning and commercial opportunities for clients.
• Mentor and support junior team members.
• Represent the firm at client and industry events.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified with post‑qualification experience.
• Proven experience managing your own client portfolio.
• Experience or genuine interest in rural, agriculture or farming sectors.
• Strong management and mentoring abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Proficiency with Xero accounting software.
• Proficiency with Sage accounting software.
