About the role
We are seeking a proactive Accounts Manager to join a construction business in London. The role involves supporting finance operations and ensuring the smooth running of the accounts department on a permanent, full‑time basis.
Key responsibilities
- Process invoices, payments and receipts accurately and in a timely manner.
- Manage purchase ledger and sales ledger transactions.
- Reconcile supplier statements and bank accounts.
- Assist with payroll preparation and CIS submissions.
- Prepare financial reports and support month‑end processes.
- Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams regarding account queries.
- Perform general administrative duties to support the finance department.
Required profile
- Previous experience in an accounts or finance role.
- Proficiency in SAGE accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

What we offer
- Permanent contract.
- Salary between £35,000 and £40,000 per year.
- Full‑time schedule, Monday‑Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
