Accounts Payable Assistant – Finance Team

About the role

The Finance team at Vivienne Westwood is seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our London head office. This entry‑level position offers the chance to develop core accounting and reporting skills while supporting the day‑to‑day operations of a leading fashion brand.

Key responsibilities

• Process high volumes of invoices and credit notes, ensuring accurate approval and coding in SAP.
• Match purchase orders and goods‑received notes to supplier invoices.
• Reconcile supplier statements and purchase accounts on a monthly basis.
• Issue purchase order numbers and control external supplier purchases.
• Post bank payments and manage company credit‑card statements.
• Assist with staff expense processing and perform ad‑hoc accounting administration tasks.

Required profile

• Education in finance, business administration or accounting is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Independent with initiative and good communication skills.
• Interest in fashion and retail environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP for invoice processing.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
