Accounts Payable Assistant

About the role

As an Accounts Payable professional in Salford, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the finance function in the property industry. From processing invoices to maintaining accurate records, you'll be essential in keeping things organised and efficient.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Reconcile supplier statements to ensure all accounts are up to date.
• Handle queries from suppliers and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare payment runs and ensure authorisations are in place.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Assist with month‑end processes and reporting.
• Support the wider finance team with ad‑hoc tasks as required.

Required profile

• Experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Good communication skills for liaising with suppliers and colleagues.
• A proactive approach to problem‑solving and meeting deadlines.
• A willingness to learn and develop within the finance function.
