Accounts Payable Assistant – London

About the role

Equifind Group is looking for a motivated Accounts Payable Assistant to join its finance team in the City of London. This full‑time position offers a hybrid working pattern and provides a solid foundation for anyone eager to develop a career in finance within a fast‑growing SaaS environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices accurately, ensuring correct coding and authorisation.
• Perform three‑way matching between purchase orders, goods received, and invoices, including price verification.
• Support supplier onboarding and maintain compliance records.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies proactively.
• Prepare and execute weekly payment runs on time.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for supplier and internal stakeholder queries.
• Maintain strong financial controls and ensure AP compliance with internal policies.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a finance or accounts payable function.
• Familiarity with month‑end processes.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to self‑prioritise and manage workload in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
