Accounts Payable Specialist – Part‑time (21 hrs/week)

About the role

You will join a busy accounts payable team supporting a locally‑renowned charity in central Woking. The position is part‑time (21 hours per week) across Monday to Wednesday and involves end‑to‑end ledger coverage.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices and grant payments from receipt to payment.
• Maintain and reconcile the accounts payable ledger on a daily basis.
• Prepare and review payment runs, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Assist with month‑end closing activities and reporting for the AP function.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoice queries.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a full‑cycle accounts payable role.
• Available to work 21 hours per week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
• Based locally in Woking or the surrounding South East England area.
• Comfortable working in a large AP function and handling end‑to‑end processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using Business Central (or similar ERP) for AP tasks.
