Accounts Payable Specialist – Temporary (12‑month)

About the role
We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join a leading sports brand on a 12‑month temporary contract. The role is based in London and involves processing a high volume of invoices while supporting the finance team with accurate and timely payments.
Key responsibilities
- Process a high volume of Accounts Payable invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor and manage the AP inbox, ensuring timely responses and actions.
- Reconcile supplier statements and company credit‑card transactions.
- Match, batch, and code incoming invoices promptly.
- Process utility bills and related payments.
- Support data validation between legacy and new systems, including verification of supplier bank details and email addresses.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of Accounts Payable experience.
- Comfortable working full‑time in the office (5 days a week).
- Experience handling high‑volume invoice processing (250+ invoices per week).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Effective communicator able to identify and resolve issues proactively.
