Accounts Portfolio Manager

About the role

Our client, a well‑established independent accountancy practice in Central London, is looking for an experienced Accounts Portfolio Manager. You will own a diverse client portfolio, delivering accounting, tax and advisory services while building long‑term relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of corporate and personal clients as the main point of contact.
• Prepare and review year‑end accounts and financial statements.
• Complete personal and corporate tax returns.
• Provide proactive accounting and tax advice.
• Mentor junior team members and review their work.
• Identify process improvements and contribute to practice growth.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified with solid accountancy practice experience.
• Proven ability to manage a client portfolio independently.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK accounts preparation and tax compliance.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Organised, proactive and able to work autonomously.
