Accounts Receivable Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a highly organised and detail‑oriented Accounts Receivable Assistant to join our finance team in central London. You will support the accurate and timely processing of customer invoicing across multiple revenue streams, working in a collaborative and fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain customer accounts, ensuring billing details, payment contacts and tax treatment are up to date.
• Generate daily and weekly invoices using both automated and manual processes.
• Review financial and customer management systems to capture all billable activity within agreed timescales.
• Issue invoices via email and customer portals to the appropriate contacts.
• Monitor and update customer records, resolving discrepancies in billing information.
• Investigate and resolve invoice‑related queries, working with internal departments.
• Process credit notes and adjustments with accurate supporting documentation.
• Escalate complex billing issues as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in billing, accounts receivable, finance administration or transactional finance.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Excellent customer service orientation.
• Comfortable working with finance systems and data.

Required skills

• Experience with NetSuite (advantageous).
