Accounts Receivable Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to lead billing, receivables, payroll administration and support the monthly financial close within a fast‑paced supply‑chain environment. The role is hybrid, with four days in the Rainham office and one day remote, offering ownership of key financial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Support monthly close procedures and maintain billing systems.
• Generate invoices, customer statements and perform account reconciliations.
• Produce regular and ad‑hoc financial reports and analysis.
• Track, investigate and resolve outstanding payments and manage debt‑collection activities.
• Administer monthly payroll processes.
• Process and reconcile banking transactions, identifying potential bad‑debt exposures.
• Ensure financial records comply with company procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Accounts Receivable or Credit Control.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive, proactive work ethic and customer‑focused attitude.
• Residency within commuting distance of Rainham and full right to work in the UK.
