Accounts Receivable Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an interim Accounts Receivable Specialist to support a leading hotel group in Central London. The position covers a long‑term sick leave, starts immediately, and is expected to run for at least one month with the possibility of extension.

Key responsibilities

• Post daily receipts across rooms, events and F&B, ensuring entries match the PMS and merchant data.
• Perform daily and weekly bank reconciliations, investigate variances and resolve mismatches with front‑of‑house and reservations teams.
• Execute credit reconciliations for corporate accounts, travel agents and group bookings, aligning charges with contracts and folios.
• Maintain accurate cash allocations, provide debtor visibility and support month‑end AR reporting.
• Liaise with internal departments and external partners to resolve billing discrepancies professionally.
• Uphold audit trails, documentation standards and internal controls for all AR activities.

Required profile

• Proven AR or sales ledger experience within a hotel environment.
• High numerical accuracy and strong attention to detail.
• Immediate availability and confidence working fully on‑site.
