About the role
We are seeking an Accounts Semi Senior to join our Chester office, supporting a diverse portfolio of limited companies, sole traders and partnerships. The role offers a varied general practice experience with opportunities to develop towards a senior position.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare draft accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
- Compile personal and corporate tax computations.
- Perform bookkeeping tasks for client accounts.
- Prepare and submit periodic VAT returns.
- Liaise with clients to resolve queries and provide tax advice.
Required profile
- Solid grounding in general practice accounting.
- AAT qualified or part‑qualified (or progressing towards ACCA/ACA).
- Experience working in an accountancy practice.
- Motivation to develop into a senior role.
