Accounts Semi‑Senior – Eastleigh

About the role

This position is for an Accounts Semi‑Senior who will join a growing accounts and audit team in Eastleigh. You will manage a portfolio of clients, develop technical and commercial expertise, and work towards completing your ACA or ACCA qualification.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day audit and accounts preparation work for assigned clients.
• Prepare draft statutory accounts to a high standard for senior review.
• Complete smaller assignments independently while supporting larger engagements.
• Monitor budgets, time‑recording and profitability of engagements.
• Supervise and coach junior team members and trainees.
• Maintain strong professional relationships with clients and third‑party contacts.
• Stay up‑to‑date with technical accounting and regulatory developments.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified (ACA or ACCA) with a commitment to complete the exams.
• Experience working in an accountancy practice environment.
• Ability to prepare accounts with minimal supervision.
• Organised, proactive and capable of prioritising workload effectively.
• Confident communicator with clients and colleagues at all levels.
