Accounts Senior – Accounting & VAT Specialist

About the role
AJ Chambers, a well‑established independent accountancy practice in Loughton, is seeking an Accounts Senior. You will handle a diverse portfolio of accounts, VAT, bookkeeping and management accounts for a range of clients, from owner‑managed businesses to UK subsidiaries of international groups.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare statutory accounts for a varied client portfolio.
- Prepare and review VAT returns and management accounts.
- Review work and provide guidance to junior team members.
- Liaise directly with clients, managers and the Tax team.
Required profile
- AAT qualified or qualified by experience.
- Previous experience working within an accountancy practice.
- Strong organisational and communication abilities.
