Accounts Senior – Business Advisory (Hybrid)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Senior to join a leading South West accountancy practice’s Business Advisory team. This hybrid role offers the chance to work with a varied client portfolio across multiple sectors, delivering high‑quality accounting services and insightful financial analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate accounts, management reports, forecasts and financial statements for diverse clients.
• Assist with tax compliance, including personal, corporation tax and VAT returns.
• Provide bookkeeping services, reconciliations and maintain financial records.
• Analyse financial data to support business decisions and deliver actionable insights.
• Manage workloads to meet deadlines and budget targets.
• Build strong client relationships and collaborate with internal teams.
• Guide and support junior staff, resolving technical queries.

Required profile

• AAT, ACA or ACCA qualified (or part‑qualified) with solid practice experience.
• Proven ability to work autonomously, organise competing priorities and maintain professionalism.
• Excellent communication skills and a client‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office suite.
