About the role
Reed are recruiting an experienced Accounts Senior for a Dorset‑based accountancy practice located in Gillingham. The role offers flexible working with fully remote options and the choice of part‑time or full‑time hours, ideal for a balanced work‑life schedule. You will join a close‑knit team of nine, including an office dog, serving a diverse client base ranging from sole traders to LLPs across multiple sectors.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare accounts, corporate and personal tax returns, and provide client support.
- Manage deadlines, maintain direct client contact, and resolve ad‑hoc queries.
- Prepare FRS102 and FRS105 accounts, handle VAT work, and ensure compliance.
Required profile
- Minimum two years’ experience within an accountancy firm.
- Ability to manage deadlines, liaise directly with clients, and handle ad‑hoc queries.
- Experience preparing FRS102/FRS105 accounts and VAT returns.
