Accounts Senior

About the role

Our client is looking for an Accounts Senior to join their growing Business Innovation team. You will deliver high‑quality accounting services to a varied portfolio of corporate and unincorporated clients across multiple sectors, while building strong client relationships and supporting financial reporting requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts for micro and small entities.
• Manage day‑to‑day client interactions and ensure timely delivery of services.
• Produce accurate financial reports and maintain compliance with relevant regulations.
• Support the professional development of junior team members.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

Required profile

• AAT Level 4 qualification or part‑qualified ACA/ACCA.
• Strong experience preparing accounts for micro and small entities.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal abilities and a client‑focused attitude.
• Effective time‑management and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Growth mindset, resilience and a collaborative, team‑oriented approach.

Required skills

• AAT Level 4 qualification.
• Part‑qualified ACA/ACCA.
