Accounts Senior or Client Manager

About the role

This position offers the chance to work closely with a diverse portfolio of clients in a respected accountancy practice. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality accounting and tax services while supporting the development of junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients, building strong relationships and providing ongoing accounting and taxation support.
• Prepare and review statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.
• Prepare and review corporation tax, self‑assessment tax returns and VAT returns.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, HMRC and colleagues, resolving queries and offering practical advice.
• Mentor and support junior staff members.
• Assist managers and partners with client projects and wider practice initiatives.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified, or qualified‑by‑experience accountants with strong practice background.
• Excellent technical knowledge of accounting and tax regulations.
• Proven experience managing a varied client portfolio.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach to client service.
