Accounts & Tax Senior Manager – Sevenoaks

About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable chartered accountancy firm in Sevenoaks as an Accounts & Tax Senior Manager. The role offers a clear progression path towards partnership, sitting between manager and director level based on experience and aspirations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage your own portfolio of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Oversee and review the production of company accounts, financial statements, corporation tax and personal tax returns.
• Build strong relationships across all teams and with senior managers.
• Liaise regularly with clients to maintain trusted partnerships and ensure timely delivery.
• Collaborate with partners to support the smooth running of the business.
• Participate in business development and marketing activities as required.
• Undertake occasional audit work if of interest.

Required profile

• Qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent experience.
• 5‑10+ years of experience within an accountancy practice.
• Proven experience preparing accounts and tax returns for owner‑managed businesses.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks, Xero or Sage is advantageous.
