About the role
We are looking for an Accounts Technician to join our Gloucester‑based practice. This full‑time permanent role offers a supportive team environment and a clear pathway for professional development within accountancy.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a varied portfolio of clients, including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
- Assist in the preparation of year‑end accounts.
- Support the compilation of tax returns.
- Handle VAT returns and general bookkeeping tasks.
Required profile
- Recent experience working in an accountancy practice.
- Either already started an accounting qualification or motivated to begin one.
- Strong desire for personal and career development.
Required skills
- Proficiency with cloud‑based accountancy software.
