Accreditation Regulator & Trainer – Counter Terrorism Finance

About the role

The Accreditation Regulator and Trainer will support the Counter Terrorism Policing Financial Investigation Unit (CTP FIU) by delivering national accreditation courses, conducting regulatory assessments and engaging with public and private partners. This position is based in West Brompton and forms part of the NTFIU Training, Engagement and Innovation unit.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver accreditation training for Counter‑Terrorism Financial Intelligence Officers (CTFIO) and Counter‑Terrorism Financial Investigators (CTFI).
• Develop training, engagement and outreach materials to raise capability across the CTP network.
• Carry out CTFI and CTFIO regulatory assessments in person across the UK, ensuring accurate administration.
• Build and maintain relationships with public and private sector partners.
• Identify training, engagement and innovation needs and support solution development.
• Contribute to projects linked to legislative, technological or operational changes.
• Deliver training and outreach activities domestically and overseas, meeting travel requirements.

Required profile

• Experience in counter‑terrorism financial investigations or related regulatory environments.
• Proven ability to design and deliver accreditation training programmes.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship‑building skills.
• Willingness to travel across the UK and internationally as required.
