About the role

The Acoustics Technical Support Engineer will provide expert technical guidance on acoustic control products to internal sales teams and external clients. Based in the Bedford office, the role blends product design input, field work and client‑facing support, offering a varied engineering experience.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical advice and support to the sales team on acoustic products.
• Liaise with clients and internal contacts to resolve technical queries.
• Collaborate closely with the design team and contribute to product development.
• Conduct field work, set up and calibrate acoustic measurement equipment.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the product range and emerging dust and noise control solutions.

Required profile

• BSc (or higher) in Acoustics or a closely related discipline.
• Previous experience in a technical role within the acoustics sector.
• Strong IT proficiency and the ability to communicate complex information clearly.

Required skills

• Acoustic measurement equipment operation.
• IT proficiency (e.g., data analysis, reporting tools).
