Acrylic Fabricator – Bespoke Retail Displays

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Acrylic Fabricator / Prototyper to join our busy manufacturing team in Letchworth. The role involves producing bespoke retail displays, fixtures and point‑of‑sale products for a range of clients. You will work full‑time, Monday‑Thursday 8:00‑16:30 and Friday 8:00‑16:00, initially on a temporary basis with the potential to become permanent.

Key responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble acrylic components to exacting quality standards.
• Perform heat bending, UV bonding, gluing, flame polishing and diamond polishing of acrylic materials.
• Operate hand and power tools to create custom prototypes and finished products.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate production.
• Collaborate with designers and production staff to develop and refine prototypes.
• Inspect, wrap and prepare completed items for dispatch.

Required profile

• Proven experience in acrylic or plastic fabrication.
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Experience using workshop machinery and hand tools.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a fast‑paced team.
• Proactive attitude with good problem‑solving skills.
